Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 5, 2026

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how [COMPANY NAME]("we", "us") processes personal data when you use the Prolabbplatform — our league administration console and fantasy basketball game (together, the "Services"). We are the data controller within the meaning of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

  • Controller: [COMPANY NAME]
  • Address: [COMPANY ADDRESS]
  • Contact: [CONTACT EMAIL]

2. Personal data we collect

We collect the following data:

  • Account data — your name or nickname, email address, and, if you register with a password, a hashed version of that password. We never store passwords in plain text.
  • Google sign-in data — if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google.
  • Subscription data — your subscription plan, status, and trial period (league administrators only).
  • Game activity — your fantasy team selections, round scores, and league memberships.
  • Consent records — the date and time you accepted our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy.

We do not use analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not sell personal data.

3. Purposes and legal basis

  • Providing the Services (account management, sign-in, running leagues and fantasy competitions) — necessary for the performance of our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Security (authentication, session management, fraud prevention) — our legitimate interest in keeping the Services safe (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Legal compliance (record keeping, responding to lawful requests) — compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

4. Cookies

We only use cookies that are strictly necessary for the Services to function:

  • Session cookies — keep you signed in. Set when you log in; deleted when the session expires or you sign out.
  • Preference cookies — remember interface settings such as the sidebar state in the admin console.

Because these cookies are strictly necessary, they do not require consent under the ePrivacy rules. We set no advertising or analytics cookies.

5. Data sharing

We share personal data only with service providers that host and operate our infrastructure (acting as processors under Art. 28 GDPR), and with Google when you choose to sign in with Google. Other league members and administrators can see your display name and game activity within the leagues you join.

6. Data retention

We keep your personal data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your account data, game activity, and related records are permanently deleted. We may retain limited data longer where required by law.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access and portability (Art. 15, 20) — download a copy of your data at any time from your account page.
  • Erasure (Art. 17) — delete your account and all associated data from your account page.
  • Rectification (Art. 16) — correct inaccurate data by editing your profile or contacting us.
  • Restriction and objection (Art. 18, 21) — contact us at [CONTACT EMAIL].
  • Complaint (Art. 77) — lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

8. International transfers

If personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we ensure appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date. For material changes we will notify you within the Services or by email.
